So, here's our list of rules which I hope you'll read and abide by before becoming an active poster. And I do hope you become an active poster ^_^
1. Be nice, and respectful, and try not to be rude
If you can, try to tackle every situation with a good attitude. Personal attacks simply will not be tolerated. Everyone falls victim to that one user who is "shouting" curses, and some of us are familiar with being the one rude and disrespectful with their words. So please, try and be nice as best you can.
2. Spelling and Grammar
Spelling mistakes, typos, and common misuses are a given, not everyone is perfect, we are all human beings and we all make mistakes. However using chat speak, text lingo, or anything else short of a fully comprehensible sentence is really not something we look forward to. For the sake of yourself and the others around you, try to keep spelling and grammar, and even punctuation errors to a minimum.
On the flip side, don't try and point out someone's spelling, grammar, or punctuation as a reason to flame or flamebait them. If they have a hard time with things, that is fine, if all of their words are jumbled and splattered in every post, just notify a mod or myself and we'll talk to them ourselves. But pointing out someone else's mistakes can easily come off as pretentious, and start flame wars, and we want nothing to do with that.
3. Flaming and Trolling
Don't do it. This goes for flamebaiting as well. If you find someone who's flamebaiting you(leading you into a situation where the outcome is personal attack after personal attack, and doing so only to get you flustered), be the bigger person and contact an admin or mod. However if you "feed the troll" and participate in such pissing matches between users, we will have no choice but to punish you as well.
4. Going off-topic
Try to avoid this if you can. Try to stay on the topic provided by the original post and thread title, and if you can to stay on that topic. If another topic arises and you realize you want to exploit it and talk about it, that's great! Just please create your own topic(though make sure you search for one that already exists on the same subject first) and you can talk about it as much as you'd like!
5. Advertising
Advertising, as of right now, can only be done in your signature. Maybe once the memberbase gets larger we will have an ad board, or an affiliate table, but for now you're signature is the only place that allows advertisements.
6. Racism/discrimination of any kind
Zero tolerance. This falls under the be nice category, but I just wanted to highlight this specific thing. If you're joking, you'll still get a warning. Be careful with this subject, as it is really quite easy to misunderstand someone over the internet, even jokes.
Rules not listed may be added later and are still punishable by however the admin or mod deems necessary. Please, enjoy the site and have fun!
